The high quality Wilderness Center Paanajärvi, owned by us is situated in Viena Karelia on an isthmus between the Lakes Paanajärvi and Zipringa, at the root of fell Päänuorunen.
The Wilderness Center is arounded by wide, untouched wilderness where the nature, game and human being live in natural harmony. This wilderness is a paradise for an hunter.
In our Wilderness Center we accommodate in fully modernly equipped log-houses. Together with our professional guides and with our other personnel we ensure the high quality services to you and your safari will succeed safely and easily.
We take our customers in one of the finest wilderness in Europe. In our safaries you can enjoy with succesful fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. The colorful and succesful happenings during the safariday will be told again and again in our restaurants dinner table and evening will continue in our karaokebar.
Company
The Wilderness Center Paanajärvi is mainly an finnish company. The company operates special safaries in Pääjärvi and in area of Paanajärvi National Park. The majority of the shares are owned by the finnish company Idän Revontulet Ltd.
Idän Revontulet Ltd is an family-owned company from Kuusamo and has operated special safaries in Russia since 1989.
Idän Revontulet Ltd is an responsible tour operator. The main points in our services are the safari equipments which are of good quality, professional finnish guides and long experience with special safaries in Russia.
The Wilderness Centre

The Wilderness Center trip is always a safari, incentive or an meeting. It includes all services: high quality accommodation, international cuisine, safari equipments, finnish guides, licences, documents and safariprogram made together with the client.
Our safaries will lead you to an real wilderness. Fishing, hunting and snowmobiling will offer you unforgettable experiences. The Zipringa-Paanajärvi wilderness is arounded by lakes, fells, free rivers and rapids and a lots of primeval forests. Oulanka, Paanajärvi, Kivakkakoski, Päänuorunen, Pyöreävaara, Tavajärvi and lots of other natures own pictures of art will draw the lines for that kind of style of life which is already almost disappeared.
